Moving Image London is the film department of the highly reputable still life photographic studio, Lux Studio London. Since 1996, we have been lighting, composing and photographing products to the highest standard.
Our tight-knit and experienced team have turned all their collective expertise in working with, composing, lighting and delivering stunning product adverts, into creating beautiful moving image films for digital and broadcast use.
Bringing with us this extensive experience, we bridge the gap between big-budget film industry commercials and the low-budget product videos that just don’t do a brand justice. Operating in this otherwise unoccupied space, we are able to offer expertly made, broadcast-quality moving image advertising productions at a unique price point.

Working with the latest high-end camera systems ensures that we can produce consistently beautiful footage. Additionally, these high resolution sensors allow for great flexibility in post-production including panning & zooming, as well as cropping for a variety of delivery and usage requirements.
Our camera operators are trained to work with the film industry’s leading high-speed cameras, the phantom 4k range, to help realise slow-motion and super-slow-motion requirements. Shooting in excess of 1000fps, just a single second of realtime action can be played back over 40 seconds.
An in-depth knowledge of post production and colour science allows our team to weave together stunning product compositions. Skilled in the industry’s leading applications including premiere pro, davinci resolve and after effects.
Based in East London; our 5000sqft studio is large enough to accommodate the vast majority of moving image shoots. Use of which is included in all bookings - saving clients all studio hire costs. We also boast off street parking, fully-fitted kitchen.
Under one roof - one team, one studio. We are in the unique position to offer fully-consistent stills photography alongside moving image. Offering significant cost-savings; this also allows for maximum consistency across all campaign assets.
We include use of our large East London studio at no additional charge to the client. In doing so, the large fees regularly associated with studio hire can be negated - offering further significant cost savings. Our studio boasts two floors of working space. This includes three primary shoot spaces, a large open-plan post production area, meeting pod, dining room and recreation area.
Our production team is comprised of entirely full-time, in-house staff, allowing us to produce shoots with zero additional crew-hire fees. As highly skilled and multi-talented individuals; each member of the Lux videography team is trained to fulfil and operate in a variety of roles on set, and in post-production. This structure allows Lux to offer significant savings on production when compared to the often unnecessarily rigid crew hierarchies of comparable production teams.
Furthermore, due to recent technological revolutions in the film industry, both high-end cine cameras and advanced motion control systems are now available to trained operators at price-points unthinkable even a few years ago. This allows us to produce broadcast level content for clients who may previously have thought this impossible within their marketing budgets.
